Working with Hard to Reach Parents (4 clock hours) Description of Program: This 4-hour training provides an opportunity for childcare providers to discuss challenges in working with hard to reach parents as well as learn about effective strategies in reaching those parents. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the nature of learning relationships in working with families;
- Use effective communication strategies to reach parents; and
- Build mutually respectful relationships with families.
