Partnering with Parents (6 clock hours) Description of Program: This 6-hour session will introduce ways that early care and education providers can partner with parents that supports the development of the child and strengthens families. This partnership will offer a more supportive environment for the child. At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Partner with children’s parents and work together for the best development of the child;
- Employ strategies for effectively joining with families and providing encouragement; and
- Discuss communication skills that build empowering learning relationships with families.
