Variety the Children’s Charity Honors Family Resource Center with 2009 Stellar Performance Award
On November 3, 2009, area non-profit agency Family Resource Center (FRC) dedicated to preventing and treating child abuse, was honored at the Variety Champions for Children Summit and Allocations Luncheon with the 2009 Stellar Performance Award
St. Luke’s Hospital Honored at FRC Event
On August 24, 2009, Family Resource Center (FRC) held their 15th Annual Golf Tournament, an event that raised over $130,000 for prevention and treatment of child abuse in the St. Louis area. During the event, St. Luke’s Hospital was honored for their outstanding and sustained support of FRC’s golf tournament and programs.
St. Louis MHB Awards FRC $243,000 Grant
FRC was awarded $243,000 by the St. Louis Mental Health Board to provide funding for the two of the organization’s core programs that address the mental health of children and families.
Family Resource Center Announces New Parent Partners Program
FRC has announced the addition Parent Partners, a new program that will provide resources to parents of children with Serious Emotional Disorders (SED).
Family Resource Center Selected as KMOX Voice of Caring Partner for July
Family Resource Center was recently selected as KMOX 1120 newsradio’s Voice of Caring Partner for the month of July. Each month, KMOX highlights one St. Louis not-for-profit organization. This gives local listeners the opportunity to hear public services announcements about the selected organization, and ways in which they can get involved.
