Preventing and treating all forms of child abuse and neglect since 1974
Family Resource Center (FRC) provides supportive care to approximately 10,000 children and parents in the St. Louis area each year. Our programs help kids heal from the trauma of abuse and neglect, and strengthen families through therapeutic, educational, support and advocacy services.

Our mission is the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect. We do that by empowering families to grow strong and stop the cycle of abuse, and by guiding parents toward becoming confident and nurturing caregivers. We provide comfort and security to facilitate children's recovery, and when necessary, help place them with safe and welcoming foster or adoptive families. We mentor teens as they face the adult responsibilities of pregnancy and finding jobs.

Every child deserves a home where they feel safe and loved. For some it is only a dream. Won’t you help us make it a reality?
